Besides being the most popular international qualifications worldwide for 14 to 16 year olds, IGCSE subject curricula develops skills of communication, creativity, inquiry, research and problem solving.

At KC High subject choices are offered across six areas of the IGCSE subjects, thereby making them eligible for the Cambridge ICE award. The six subject areas are given below.

Students must choose at least one from each group and the total number of subjects chosen can vary between 7 and 9.

Students will choose:

One level of the Language and Literature Course under Group 1

One subject from Groups 2 – 5


EITHER Visual Arts OR 1 additional subject from groups 3 and 4

Note: IBDP Core is compulsory and includes Theory of Knowledge, CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) and the Extended Essay.

Overall, each student must have 3 HL subjects.
