The best way to make children good is to make them happy! – Oscar Wilde.
Every child is unique and so is their vision! Children’s unfiltered innocence was captured and celebrated at school on Children’s day! Envisioning sparkles, unicorns, pots of gold at the end of the rainbow alongside the little minds was a dose of rejuvenation for the teachers and staff.
The school was dotted with games, entertainment, food, photo booth, petting zoo, and learning activities on the 14th of November to show how special a core they are to the KC community! The toddlers, by age and by heart, thoroughly adored petting the dog, cat, ducks, goose, hedgehog, and a turkey that were brought to the campus. The colorful photo booth was a place for many children and teachers. The minute to win games organized for primary students gave them a chance to mingle with learners from other grades in a friendly environment. There was cotton candy, popcorn, and ice cream for the children to create sweet memories! The special performance by teachers with a short play brought in roars of laughter. The mellifluous medleys and a dance showcased the reverie and admiration the teachers have for the students. The 9th and 11th graders were taken to PVR on ECR for a special screening of Black Panther – Wakanda forever. They were given a red carpet welcome by the PVR team. The middle schoolers enjoyed watching the classic children’s comedy movie, Home Alone, at the MPH. The creme de la creme was reserved for Grade 10 and 12 kids. The kids went to Himachal and Uttarakhand on a trek in the foothills of the Himalayas for a week organized by INME. They were off gadgets and off the map living close to nature in a camp and taking in the beautiful landscape and weather.
The effort of adding another spoon of sugar to their sweet lives was worth it, for the best gift we could give them is an opportunity to make memories.
