GGs explored their roots and rich religious history with a field trip to the key places of worship in Chennai. It was a celebration of the different religions that make up both the school and the class. The learners visited Nandanam mosque, Shanthinath Jain temple, Kapaleeshwarar temple and the Santhome church. They also enriched their learning by hearing about the architecture and discussed the different kinds of materials used to build them. They observed the traditions and rituals associated with each religion. They found out that Chennai is a diverse city with different religions, traditions and culture.
