Grade 6 students visit St. Louis School for visually challenged

The Grade 6 children of KC High had an opportunity to interact with the learners of Grade 6 from St. Louis School for the Visually Challenged. They sat in groups and exchanged ideas, thoughts and feelings about various topics ranging from their favourite subject to movie stars, hobbies etc.

Our kids got an insight into how learning happens so effectively using Braille. Some of the learners sang for each other and also quizzed them on various topics relating to Science and Math.

It was an eye opening experience for our learners and they were extremely touched by the interaction – the confidence with which they lead their lives, their knowledge and their social behaviour.

Our kids are eagerly awaiting for the next interaction!
