KC High Grade 5 Student Shriya Nandini Prasad’s Achievement in Swimming

KC High Student Shriya Nandini - Swimming Achievement in the South Zone Junior Aquatics Championship held at Belgaum, India

KC High Grade 5 student Shriya Nandini Ishwar Prasad impressed with her performance at the recently concluded South Zone Junior Aquatics Championship held at Belgaum. She swam as part of the Tamil Nadu freestyle relay team and helped the team clinch a silver medal.

As part of the medley team, she clocked her personal best time of 35.08 seconds in the 50 mt breaststroke, which surpasses the boys and girls national records for her age category and also the south zone record set earlier.

She set the South Zone record time of 40.45 seconds in her age group in 50 mt breaststroke, surpassing the earlier record set by Asian Gold winner Damini Gowda. Shriya also set the State record in this event in the state selections as well.
