Madras Week Celebrations:
We celebrated the ‘Madras Week’ from the 16th of August to the 23rd of August. During this time, learners across all grades engaged with fun activities, special sessions about the history and culture of our beautiful city. We had many guest speakers – authors, historians, journalists, and other experts from various walks of life – interacting with our learners.
Leaping Lions:
In celebration of Madras week, the creative Lions made doodles on what Chennai means to them.
LL Madras Party:
In celebration of Madras Week, the Leaping Lions donned costumes as characters of Chennai. They gave clues for their friends to guess who they were dressed as. The creative characters ranged from famous people such as R.K.Narayan, M.S.Dhoni, Viswanathan Anand, Jayalalitha, to famous places such as the Lighthouse to things that make Chennai special like the topi dosa, filter coffee, thalaiyatti bommai and the list is endless.
